Week Fourteen - November 1st, 2004

Greetings for the last time,

Originally, I was inspired to start my BU - - SH - - emails by several family members and friends that either don’t vote or could obviously give a damn about politics.  I’m not suggesting that politics become a dominating factor in your lives…just that you make a small effort to educate yourself about the issues at stake in elections and actually vote.  I don’t think it is asking much of people to familiarize themselves with some of the facts and make an informed decision at the polls.  Hopefully my emails have played some small role in getting people to think about and discuss some of the issues.  But most importantly, I hope that every single person that has read a volume of BU - - SH - - will go out and vote on November 2nd.

This is the last volume of BU - - SH - - .  By now I am assuming that you all know whom you are voting for on Tuesday.  So rather than the typical structure with the fun facts, this volume simply contains a summary of where Dubya and Kerry stand on several issues.  Ranging from their record, to their proposals, to their party platform, it is meant to briefly touch on a large variety of issues important in this election.

From this site you can find out where to vote.  All you have to do is enter your zip code followed by your street address and it will tell you the location of your neighborhood poling place.

Here is one last quote from our dear friend Dubya…I couldn’t agree with him more on this one.

"A political candidate who jumps to conclusions without knowing the facts is not a person you want as your commander in chief." – George W. Bush, October 27, 2004

Without further delay…here is the final Volume of BU - - SH - - .  Enjoy.
